The OB fellowship here at Oakwood Hospital is split between our community hospital, where our Family Medicine Residency Program operates, adn our tertiary care center where our OB/GYN Residency Program operates. Therefore, fellows get the best of both worlds working exclusively with the Family Medicine Program at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital where we perform 1200 deliveries and the high-rish and high volume of our tertiary care facility at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center where they perform 4000-5000 deliveries. Fellows will gain experience in high-risk obstetrics, ultrashounds and major and minor surgical procedires including cesarean sections, tubal ligations, amniocenteses and D&Cs.
