Difficult patients teach us important lessons
Fam Pract Manag. 2012 Nov-Dec;19(6):6.
The article “Rethinking the Difficult Patient Encounter” [July/August 2012] was awesome! It should be mandatory reading for physicians, and we should all adopt the principles mentioned in the article. Those of us who have learned how to enjoy our “heartsink” patients seem to get more out of them than our colleagues who have not learned how to enjoy them. Thank you for the wonderful article!
