Focus on mental health in May with these tools
As part of AAFP's Annual Clinical Focus, Mental Health 2000, all AAFP members will receive free patient education handouts this month on anxiety and panic disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dementia, depression, depression in older adults, emotional health, substance abuse and understanding your teen's emotional health. The stigma of mental illness can keep people from seeking help because of fear of discrimination. You can fight the stigma with a free new kit developed by the Department of Health and Human Services' Center for Mental Health Services.
