Drawn to the Intelligent Medical
PracticeSM exhibit to learn more about electronic health records,
attendees such as William Gilkison, M.D., of Indianapolis, standing at right,
came away impressed. After seeing a demonstration of one program, he said,
"It was an incredibly impressive system with interesting and useful
features." He added, "I've been using the same thermometers and
blood pressure cuffs for 20 years -- it's time to upgrade to newer
technology."
