Family physicians who have been out of residency no more than three years and who are teaching part-time can apply for the 1997 Parke-Davis Teacher Development Awards.
The program awards $1,500 to 12 family physicians exhibiting excellence in part-time teaching. The award includes a trip to AAFP's 1997 Scientific Assembly in Chicago Sept. 18-21. Family practice residencies will receive information on the awards later this month. The application deadline is Jan. 17, 1997.
