The Nutrition Screening Initiative has published two new brochures to help older persons and their family physicians evaluate seniors' nutritional health. Both brochures can be used with DETERMINE, NSI's nutritional health checklist.
DETERMINE is a mnemonic de-vice in which each letter of the word stands for a nutritional question. Older patients' answers to the questions can help a family physician judge their nutritional status.
