Museum, golf on tap before 1997 Assembly
Looking for a way to entertain your family in Chicago before the 1997
AAFP Scientific Assembly? The Illinois AFP has a deal for you.
The chapter is sponsoring a museum tour and a golf tournament for
Assembly early birds.
- The Chicago Children's Museum will be closed to the general public on
Monday, Sept. 15, but will be open to Assembly attendees, courtesy of the
Illinois AFP and Advocate Health Plans. The museum is three floors of hands-on
fun. Set sail aboard a three-story-tall schooner. Play in the waterways. Create
in the Inventing Lab. Hike through the woods of Treehouse Trails. Event
planners promise enough activities to amuse adults and children for hours.
Lunch will be provided.
- The Illinois AFP Foundation and the AAFP Foundation are holding a
golf tournament at Kemper Lakes to raise funds for both foundations. Get ready
for a challenging golf course!
For more information on either program, contact the Illinois AFP at
