AHCN changes name to HealthAnswers

America's HouseCall Network (AHCN), a health information site on the World Wide Web, is changing its name to HealthAnswers® March 10.

The AAFP is one of the site's partners, and AAFP materials on AHCN have been receiving about 120,000 hits per month--with a "hit" being a user's access of a page or item.

The site offers Health Notes From Your Family Doctor, as well as the patient education handouts from American Family Physician.

The reason for the name change: Too many programs and projects use "house call" in their titles; HealthAnswers® is more recognizable. Use the following address--http://www.healthanswers.com--to enter HealthAnswers®. Or go to the Academy's home page at this address--http://www.aafp.org--and enter Family Medicine Online, which links with HealthAnswers®.
