Family physicians offer parenting advice in Sept. 29 Newsweek magazine
The Academy and Newsweek joined forces for a special Newsweek section, "Parenting and Child Care."
The 26-page section in the Sept. 29 Newsweek featured articles written by five family physicians with the assistance of Academy staff in the News and Special Projects departments.
Article topics included child development, nutrition, toys, and getting others to follow your rules when they care for your child.
The special section was distributed to about 3.1 million Newsweek subscribers. An additional 200,000 reprints, packaged in bundles of 50, are available free for AAFP members to order. For copies for your office, call the AAFP Order Department at (800) 944-0000 and ask for item #R020.
