Ask health plans to use standard application form
If you're tired of having your staff complete different application forms for you to join managed care organizations, try a new tack: Ask the health plans to use the standardized form of the American Association of Health Plans.
AAHP's standardized form has been requested by about 450 health plans across the country but may not be implemented yet by them. The form, developed last spring with input from groups including the Academy, should help you streamline your paperwork.
