Two posters tied for the first-place award for a resident poster ($500 each): Heidi Baines, M.D., of the Alaska Family Practice Residency in Anchorage, for "Dental Education for Family Physicians" (RS012) and Mary Daly, M.D., of the Mayo Family Medicine Program in Rochester, Minn., for "Assessment and Diagnosis of ADHD by Family Physicians" (RS014).
The first-place award of $700 for a medical student poster went to Paul Tonkin of the University of Minnesota - Duluth School of Medicine for "Effects of Rising Debt on Specialty Selection" (MS034).
The second-place award of $300 for a medical student poster went to Anne Ivnik Siple of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., for "Domestic Abuse Screening: Victims' Views" (MS031).
