The AAFP Reference Manual presents AAFP position statements on the clinical aspects of practice. To order a manual, call the AAFP order department at (800) 944-0000 and ask for item #R613. Members can get their first copy free, but there is an added charge for extra copies. The manual also can be accessed at www.aafp.org/policy on the AAFP Web site.
Promote men's health. Put copies of the 32-page booklet, Men's Maintenance Manual, in your reception area to remind men they need an annual check-up. Men's Health Magazine developed the manual in cooperation with the AAFP to promote the annual National Men's Health Week, June 14-20. The booklet encourages men to take charge of their lives by exercising, watching what they eat and stopping stress before it starts.
