FPM Award for Practice Improvement
The mission of Family Practice Management is to give family physicians the tools and information they need to build better practices and improve patient care, so it seems fitting that FPM should co-sponsor this award in association with the Conference on Practice Improvement(www.stfm.org).
The FPM award is offered annually to a primary care practice or practice organization that has made significant improvement in one or more of the following areas in the past three calendar years:
- Clinical outcomes
- Clinical process improvement
- Patient satisfaction
- Staff satisfaction
- Physician satisfaction
- Practice efficiency and productivity
Submissions will be judged on degree and scope of demonstrated improvement. Entries that demonstrate innovation and teamwork are preferred.
The winning practice will receive a framed certificate, a cash award of $500, and two complimentary registrations to the Conference on Practice Improvement. The award will be presented during the conference, Nov. 21-24, 2013, San Diego, Calif. One or more representatives of the winning practice are encouraged to be in attendance for the awards presentation.
Applicants must e-mail a complete application(2 page DOC) and supporting materials by Aug. 1, 2013, to Ray Rosetta, c/o Conference on Practice Improvement at the addresses given on the application form. The winning practice will be notified in late September or early October.
