According to preliminary registration figures for the 2012 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, the AAFP hosted 3,286 people, including 901 medical students and 945 family medicine residents here on July 26-28.
The numbers reflect the highest attendance at the annual conference in at least the past nine years.
Delegates to the National Congress of Family Medicine Residents and National Congress of Student Members chose new leaders on July 28 to represent them in the coming year. Here are the election results:
