During a brief tour of Tbilisi, the Physicians With Heart delegation visited the Sioni Cathedral, the center of the Georgian Church and one of the most important and historic buildings in the country.

Physicians who accompanied the Physicians With Heart delegation to teach a course in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) load their instructional materials into a van before leaving for No. 2 Maternity Hospital of Tbilisi, which will be the site of the five-day course.

Sandra Saakashvili, the wife of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, was among the guests who attended a dinner reception hosted by the Physicians With Heart project on Sunday, October 31st.
