The Mercy Family Medicine Residency offers its residents the opportunity to use elective time for experiences in international health.

Description of field experience: From two to four weeks.
Description of didactics: All residents have didactic educational experiences in international health. All residents who participate in an international experience are expected to share their experience with the others in a formal didactic presentation.
