Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) strives to create and enhance educational resources for those who teach physicians committed to improving and maintaining the health of the communities they serve. Its vision is to be the best source of information on international medical education.
- International Opportunities in Medical Education (IOME) Database --The International Opportunities in Medical Education (IOME) database is a joint project of FAIMER and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Launched in 2007, IOME contains information about international opportunities for medical students, residents and faculty.
- FAIMER's fellowship programs -- Targeted to international health profession education faculty who have the potential to play key roles in improving education in their schools, these fellowship programs develop skills that allow participants to serve as resources for their colleagues, institutions, local communities and global regions.
