Wonca "15by20015" initiative

The Wonca “15by2015” campaign asks that donor organizations allocate 15 percent of their vertical funding towards sustainable comprehensive primary health care that is accessible and affordable in all regions of the world. Wonca partners in the "15by2015" initiative are:
  • Global Health through Education, Training and Service (GHETS) -- A non-governmental, non-profit organization based in the U.S. and dedicated to improving health in developing countries through innovations in education and service.
  • The Network: Towards Unity For Health -- A global association of individuals, groups, institutions and organizations committed to improving and maintaining health in the communities they have a mandate to serve.
  • The European Forum for Primary Care -- Initiated in early 2005 by a group of interested parties from several countries, the forum aims to improve the health of the population by promoting strong primary care. This is done by advocating for primary care, by generating data and evidence on primary care, and by exchanging information between its members
