American Hospital Association Section for Small or Rural Hospitals -- AHA's Section for Small or Rural Hospitals supports small and rural hospital as they build community-based integrated networks and seek to improve the health status of their communities.
American Psychological Association’s Rural Psych Resource Center -- Rural PSYCH, world-wide website, serves as a resource for providers, purchasers and consumers of behavioral health care in frontier and rural areas. The goal of this center is to alleviate professional isolation and lack of current treatment information to behavioral health providers in rural and frontier areas.
Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) -- The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary organization established by National Health Service Corp alumni, providers and scholars. The primary emphasis is on clinicians who are providing health care to medically underserved populations.
National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) -- NACHC provides services and technical assistance to health centers in support of their mission to provide health care services to the poor and medically underserved. America's health center network includes Community Health Centers, Migrant Health Centers, Homeless Health Centers and other community-directed health center programs.
National Children's Cancer Society (NCCS) -- The N.C.C.S. provides direct financial assistance and emotional support to children with cancer and their families nationwide. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and to reduce the risk of cancer by promoting children's health through fnancial and in-kind assistance, advocacy, support services, education and prevention programs.
National Association on Rural Mental Health (NARMH) -- Some of the strategies of NARMH is to promote the unique needs and concerns of rural mental health programs and improve the delivery of rural mental health services through the development of educational resources and dissemination of information about rural mental health policy and practice issues and providing a forum for rural mental health professionals and advocates to identify problems, find solutions and work cooperatively.
National Library of Medicine (NLM) -- The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is the world's largest medical library. It collects materials in all areas of biomedicine and health care, and the collection stands at 5.3 million items.
National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health -- This organization was initiated to become an influential voice for state rural health concerns. Its members strive to develop increased communication and involvement with the 50 State Offices of Rural Health, build strong relationships with other health care groups, and find sources of revenue to improve its effectiveness.
National Rural Health Association (NRHA) -- NRHA is a national membership organization whose mission is to improve the health and health care of rural Americans and to provide leadership on rural issues through advocacy, communications, education and research.
Rural Health Resource Center -- The Rural Health Resource Center is a private, non-profit organization that has been developed by a coalition of national health organizations to bring needed technical assistance, information and process tools to rural communities. The center supports the work of the state offices of rural health and helps to build state and local capacity.
Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) -- The Rural Policy Research Institute conducts research and creates policy to ensure that the government consider the needs of rural areas when creating laws.
Society of Teachers in Family Medicine (STFM) -- STFM's Rural Interest Group is committed to providing a comprehensive source of information needed for those in family medicine education and practicing in rural areas of the United States.
