About Cookies

Cookies are used as part of our security system to verify your identity and to temporarily store your log-in information as you navigate through the members-only section of the site. Cookies are also used for some features of the public site, including online surveys.

Enabling cookies in your browser:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and 7
  - Select the "Tools" pull-down menu and then select "Internet Options." Select the tab labeled "Privacy." If a slider is present, select "Medium" or if set to "Custom" click "Advanced". "Accept/Enable" should be checked under "First-Party Cookies, also be sure "Always allow session cookies" is checked, then click Ok.
- Mozilla Firefox
  - Select the "Tools" pull-down menu and then select "Options." Select the tab labeled "Privacy." Click the "+" next to the "Cookies" option. Make sure box next to "Allow sites to set cookies" is checked before clicking the "Ok" button to retain these settings.
- Apple Safari
  - Select "Safari" from the tool bar and then select "Preferences." Select the tab labeled "Security." Make sure "Always" or "Only from sites you navigate to" is checked then click the Red close button to retain the settings.
