Provides funding for outstanding third- or fourth-year medical students for a four- or five-year period. Students must make a commitment to the specialty of family medicine. The funding program is designed to reimburse medical school debt incurred by the student at the conclusion of the student's residency.
Students are evaluated each year to assure eligibility for continuation. There is no service commitment for students upon completion of the scholarship.
