Pfizer Teacher Development Award

This award is designed to stimulate interest in teaching family medicine on a part-time basis. Awarded by the AAFP Foundation to 15 selected family physicians who have been out of residency no more than seven years and will be teaching family medicine part-time. Recipients receive an award of $1,500, with an additional $500 awarded to their Teaching Center. This program is supported in part by an unrestricted educational grant from the Pfizer Medical Humanities Initiative.
