One of the AAFP's founding principles emphasizes the importance of continuing education for our members, America's family physicians. This philosophy is also evident with our commitment to staff training. Our staff members continue to learn and grow in their positions and in the Academy in a variety of ways:
Continuing Education
- Educational Assistance - The AAFP offers reimbursement for continuing education through accredited colleges and universities.
- Professional Education - The AAFP budgets monies for staff members to join professional associations and attend meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- GO! (Growth Opportunities) Program - The AAFP offers ongoing staff education through the GO! Program. This program includes a variety of required and optional classes to assist with personal and professional development. Most classes are held on-site.
