Student Community Outreach Award

Medical students will receive a plaque and a $600 scholarship to attend the National Conference of Family Practice Residents and Medical Students.

Requirements: Complete a Student Community Outreach Award application; AAFP student member; medical student actively involved in a community service or advocacy project including clinical work or patient education that is not part of an offered or required rotation in the curriculum.

Recipients will be notified by mail the week of May 29, 2009.

Deadline for submission: Submission must be postmarked by May 1, 2009.
