Marketing Copywriter

Marketing Copywriter (Grade P3) (Job #20)
Marketing Resource Center
Marketing Division

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Travel:

Approximately 6-10 days per year

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Marketing Copywriter will create copy that supports consistent branding through clear, compelling sales and promotional messages. This position will include writing for online, direct mail, email, print collateral, speeches, and more.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing or related field, and at least two years of work experience directly related to the demands of this position. Must have professional experience working in a marketing environment or as an editor/copywriter. Internet writing experience is preferred (web sites, email or intranet). Must be able to function well in a quick-turn-around environment. Ability to work effectively across divisions with a diverse group of internal clients. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus. Applicant must have a portfolio of writing samples.
