Continuing Medical Education Division

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Travel:

Approximately 10-15 days per year

Summary of Responsibilities:

This individual will communicate directly with course coordinators for over 150 provider courses in the US each year and in 44 different countries. Will manage License Agreements with over 18 different countries and manage domestic and international revenue/royalty payments. This individual is responsible for the overall coordination of all AAFP ALSO® Instructor Courses. Will be responsible for overseeing the development and ongoing implementation of ALSO® Instructor and Refresher Course templates for future franchised courses. Will assist manager and managing editor in verifying evidence based recommendations for the ongoing revision of the ALSO® Syllabus and one page addendums, and formatting all ALSO® slides and other course materials.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education beyond high school or equivalent work experience, plus at least four years previous office experience. Knowledge of international customs and cultural differences helpful. Direct understanding of ACCME Accreditation system, direct understanding of the continuing nursing education requirements for the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s on Accreditation system, and health care experience preferred. Strong computer skills (including database management, spreadsheets/charts), exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and decision making skills required. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, highly organized, attentive to detail and the ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously. A professional, customer service attitude essential.
