Medical Education Data and Information Specialist (Grade P2 ) (Job # 36)
Medical Education Division

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

No travel anticipated.

For more than 25 years, the AAFP has collected data on the ACGME-accredited residency programs and LCME-accredited medical schools in the US. This position will be responsible for the collection and management of all AAFP data related to medical schools and family medicine residency programs. This includes management of the AAFP organizational records for institutions that feed the residency program census, medical school census, residency program directory, fellowship directory, clerkship/preceptorship directory, and workforce capacity data reports. Responsible for data requests from AAFP partners, AAFP constituencies, or media calls. Develop AAFP reprints for core AAFP annual publications and the medical education toolbox of materials to support undergraduate and graduate medical education decision-makers in advocacy efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience plus at least one to two years related experience. Required skills include advanced computer and data management knowledge to build and maintain medical education resources. Knowledge of medical education process preferred. Data and statistical analyses needed.
