ACF 2008 focuses on the epidemiology of infections, prevention and control, immunizations and catch-up vaccinations and judicious use of antibiotics. The program includes screening and diagnostic approaches, new technologies and tools, plus emerging treatment options. Aspects of the chronic care model and a systems approach to care will also be discussed.
