H1N1 Flu Clinical and Public Health Guidance -- The CDC provides information to clinicians and public health officials including information on case definition, infection control, specimen collection, etc. on influenza A (H1N1) virus infection.
10/12/09: Template Letter for Healthcare Providers About the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) -- CDC created the following template for you to use as an email or standard mail letter to encourage healthcare providers in your area to report adverse events following vaccination to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). You may use the letter in part or in full.

CDC H1N1 Influenza (Flu) -- The CDC's Web site provides updated information on H1N1 influenza A virus infection in the U.S. including clinical and community guidance.
H1N1 Flu Resource Center -- The Lancet has partnered with over 40 Elsevier-published journals and 11 learned societies to launch a new H1N1 Flu Resource Centre for healthcare professionals at TheLancet.com. Developed by The Lancet editors, this new online information clearinghouse aggregates infectious disease and public health information from across Elsevier's spectrum of content.
ASTHO State Health Departments -- This site provides a clickable map and a listing of links to all state health departments.
World Health Organization (WHO) -- WHO is coordinating the global response to human cases of influenza A (H1N1) virus infection and monitoring the corresponding threat of an influenza pandemic. Information on this page tracks the evolving situation and provides access to both technical guidelines and information useful for the general public.

AAFP Resources

New--AAFP Triage Protocol for Suspected Novel H1N1 Influenza Infection -- In response to the novel H1N1 influenza pandemic, the AAFP has developed an algorithm for a triage protocol for suspected H1N1 influenza infection that family physicians can use in their practices. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) recommendations for the use of antiviral medications in the treatment and prevention of influenza for the 2009-2010 season was used as the basis for guidance on antiviral treatment. http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/recommendations.htm
