Hearing, screening Loss in Older Adults
The AAFP concludes that the current evidence is insufficient to assess the balance of benefits and harms of screening for hearing loss in asymptomatic adults 50 years and older. (2012)
Clinical Considerations: This recommendation applies to adults age 50 years and older who show no signs or symptoms of hearing loss.
