Putting Nutrition Science to Work in Family Medicine

Family physicians and their practice teams play a vital role in encouraging patients to lead healthy lives through physical activity, nutrition and emotional well-being.

Through this webinar series, produced in partnership with the American Society for Nutrition, family physicians and nutrition researchers will present evidence-based guidelines and practical approaches to integrating nutrition science into family medicine offices.

Nutrition and Weight Management -- A free, one-hour webinar about helping patients make dietary changes to manage weight and reduce disease risk. This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1 Prescribed credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Credit valid through April 19, 2012.
Nutrition and Heart Disease -- A free, one-hour CME webinar about helping your patients make small, evidence-based dietary changes to reduce their risk of heart disease. This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Credit valid through May 3, 2012.
Nutrition and Digestive Health -- A free, live one-hour CME webinar about helping patients make evidence-based dietary changes prevent and manage common digestive conditions. This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Credit valid through July 14, 2012.
