Nutrition and Weight Management
This CME webinar, Nutrition and Weight Management, provides help for your patients to make evidence-based dietary changes to manage their weight and reduce their risk of disease.

Faculty Information
Michelle May, MD, FAAFP, is the founder of the Am I Hungry? mindful eating program. She is an advisor for the AAFP Americans in Motion — Healthy Interventions fitness initiative and the author of Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat.
David Heber, MD, PhD, is a professor of medicine and director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition, and a Past President of the American Society for Nutrition clinical division. His research focuses on the role of nutrition, botanical dietary supplements and the prevention and treatment of obesity in common forms of cancer.

CME Accreditation
This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1.0 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Of these credits, 1.0 conforms to the AAFP criteria for evidence-based CME clinical content. AAFP accreditation begins April 19, 2010. Term of approval is for 2 years from this date.
The EB CME credit awarded for this activity was based on a current clinical question that identifies gaps in learners' knowledge, competency and/or performance in medical practice as identified in the current evidence available at the time this activity was approved. Since clinical research is ongoing, the American Academy of Family Physicians recommends that learners verify sources and review these as well as practice recommendations prior to implementation into practice.
