AAFP Senior Scholar in Residence at Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) -- The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are seeking applicants for the position of AAFP Senior Scholar in Residence at AHRQ. The goals of AHRQ are to enhance the quality, effectiveness and appropriateness of health care services and to improve access to that care.

NIH Mentored Clinical Scientist Development Award -- The Mentored Clinical Scientist Development Award (K08) provides support for the development of outstanding research scientists. It provides specialized study support for trained professionals who are committed to a career in research and have the potential to develop into independent investigators.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director's Pioneer Award -- This is a new program developed under the NIH Roadmap to encourage highly innovative approaches to biomedical research that have the potential to lead to significant advances in human health.
