The New Look Of The AAFP NRN
You likely already know that the AAFP National Research Network (AAFP NRN) is a practice-based research collaborative at the forefront of identifying new medical knowledge. Through our national membership of clinicians, we support, conduct, and share evidence-based research that strengthens the primary care research base and ultimately benefits patients, families and communities.
In an effort to share our message with others in the field of family medicine and primary care research, the AAFP NRN is pleased to announce our new brand, which includes a clean, refined logo, with an organized and focused message. As we begin our 12th year, we’re proud to unveil a logo that demonstrates an updated take on our core ideas that remain rooted in collaborative, credible, and multi-layered research. We feel the new logo represents a continued commitment to meeting the needs of our members and reinforces our role as a national practice-based research.
When designing the new brand we wanted to get the input from everyone who has a vested interest in the AAFP NRN so we asked for input from our members and collaborators. They were surveyed and asked to select images that best represented our mission and vision statements. 60% of all the respondents surveyed thought the new logo strongly represented the AAFP NRN.
As we look to the future and begin encounter the many changes in primary care research, the AAFP NRN is proud to share and celebrate our new brand with our members and vested stakeholders.
