Five grants of up to $2,000 each are now available for short-term projects that can be conducted and reported within a six-month time period. Family Medicine residents are eligible to submit a research proposal to the AAFP Foundation Research Committee for funding consideration.
Each successful resident grantee will receive a scholarship to attend the 2009 Research Skills Seminar and National Conference to give a 10-minute presentation on his/her research project.
A Best Paper Award will recognize the best overall research project. All grant recipients’ projects will be considered and the award will be given to the Resident Research Grant presenter whose proposal and final report show exemplary execution.
