Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (breakfast at 7:30 a.m.)
Location: Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront, Portland, OR
The one-day course concentrates on specific teaching skills required for the didactic lectures, hands-on small group workstations, and testing stations presented in the provider courses. The course focuses on adult learning, faculty development, giving effective feedback, teaching in small group workstations, and evaluating participants in the two testing components used in the provider course.
Course attendees: physicians, certified nurse midwives, and registered nurses who have successfully completed an ALSO® Provider Course and are active providers.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
