The ALSO Refresher Course targets providers who may just want a review of the most current updated curriculum. Those whose five-year provider status is about to expire also benefit from this course. Successfully completing the ALSO Refresher Course gives the provider a second five-year status. Individuals who took the ALSO Provider Course more than five years ago are required to retake the two-day provider course to maintain their status. The ALSO Refresher Course does not replace the ALSO provider course.
