Advanced Suturing

Learning Objectives:
  1. Describe the use of Burrow's wedge triangles to remove redundant skin.
  2. List and perform the steps in single and double advancement flaps.
  3. Describe and perform the technique and benefits of the O-Z plasty in lesion removal and closure.
  4. Review the techniques of a basic Z plasty in redirecting a wound perpendicular to the lines of least skin tension.
