- Select tactics to promote the health and well-being of older adults in all encounters with elderly patients.
- Direct family members and/or caregivers of elderly patients to appropriate resources to enhance environmental safety and prevent falls.
- Prepare diagnostic plans, as part of the geriatric assessment, to assess cognitive and functional status.
