CME opportunities are the number one reason family physicians attend Scientific Assembly. 89% of participants report that they attend the Scientific Assembly specifically for the CME activities.
A Satellite CME event is a great opportunity to offer family physicians additional education on topics that can help improve patient care and health outcomes. These activities are required to offer AAFP Prescribed credit and must comply with AAFP Satellite guidelines, ACCME Standards for Commercial Support (3-page PDF; About PDFs), and AMA’s Ethical Opinion on Gifts from Industry.
