Applying to Hold CME Events

Complete the Application to Hold a Satellite Event (2-page PDF; About PDFs) and submit with 25% of the administrative fee to AAFP by March 5, 2008. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Please contact Diane Schmid at 1-800-274-2237 ext. 6542 for assistance as you complete your application.

There are 20 morning, 4 lunchtime and 20 evening CME event slots available. A limit of 4 CME events per time slot allowed with no duplicate topics. The Satellite Events will begin on Tuesday evening, September 16, and end on Sunday morning, September 21. NEW! Four lunchtime time slots are available on Wednesday, September 17. The deadline to submit an application to hold a CME event is March 5, 2008. Applications are accepted and approved on a first-come, first-served basis, even before the initial deadline date. Applications will be continued to be accepted if all slots are not filled.

Providers may choose the day and time slot (based on availability) and hotel location for their event. Visit AAFP Scheduled Events as you decide on the day and time slot for your event.

CME providers whose events are approved must offer AAFP Prescribed credit, adhere to all deadlines, and pay the required administrative fee.
