Applying to Hold CME Events

Complete the application to hold a satellite event, then submit it and 25% of the administrative fee to AAFP on or before April 30, 2012. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Please email Michele Staus or call (913) 906-6297 for assistance as you complete your application.

There are 6 morning, 4 lunchtime and 6 evening CME event slots available. No duplicate topics are allowed. Satellite Events will begin at noon on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 and end on Friday morning, October 19, 2012. The deadline to submit an application to hold a CME event is April 30, 2012. Applications are accepted and approved on a first-come, first-served basis, even before the initial deadline date. Applications will continue to be accepted if all slots are not filled after this date.

Providers may choose the day and time slot (based on availability) and hotel location for their event.

CME providers whose events are approved must offer AAFP Prescribed credit, adhere to all deadlines, and pay the required administrative fee.

Evening events may begin at 7:00 p.m. and end any time

Morning events may begin any time and must end by 7:30 a.m.
Evening events may begin at 7:00 p.m. and end any time

Friday, October 19, 2012
Morning events may begin any time and must end by 7:30 a.m.

Registration may open 30 minutes prior to the approved start time.
