Applying to Hold Promotional Events

There are 10 evening time slots available for Satellite Promotional events. Only two events allowed per time slot and may take place Tuesday evening, September 16 through Saturday evening, September 20. Applications to hold a Satellite Promotional event will be reviewed and approved on a first come, first-served basis, even before the June 25, 2008 deadline. Applications will be continued to be accepted if all slots are not filled.

Promotional events may offer dinner with presentation, "Ask the Expert" informal discussion between physician and expert, or poster session with reception. The event must be clearly identified as a promotional, not education, event.

Complete the Application to Hold a Satellite Event (2-page PDF; About PDFs) and submit with 25% of the administrative fee to AAFP by June 25, 2008.

Sponsors may choose the day, time slot (based on availability) and hotel location for their event. Visit AAFP Scheduled Events as you decide on the day and time slot for your event.

Registration and food service may open 30 minutes prior to the approved start time.
