Fees
What does the administrative fee include?
The opportunity to market to over 5,000 family physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals. AAFP will list your event on the AAFP Web site, in the Satellite Event Locator Map brochure, AAFP News Now newspaper, Assembly Edition and on floor signs in the convention center.
Cost for hotel meeting space, food, faculty, marketing opportunities, AV, travel, etc. is the sponsor or activity organizer's responsibility.
The sponsor or activity organizer is responsible for paying the administrative fee.
When submitting the Application to Hold a Satellite Event (2-page PDF; About PDFs), 25% of the administrative fee must accompany the application. Approval of event will not be granted without payment.
The balance of the administrative fee is due to AAFP no later than July 16, 2008. Send payment to Diane Schmid, AAFP, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, KS 66211-2672.
Mailing lists or other promotional services may not be obtained until administrative fee has been paid in full.
Cancellation Policy
If an event is canceled after approval of time slot, the 25% deposit will not be refunded. If the administrative fee has been paid in full, 75% of the fee will be refunded.
