The following dates are when materials are due to AAFP. Materials may be submitted before the date listed.
March 5, 2008
Application to Hold Satellite Event (2-page PDF; About PDFs) and 25% administrative fee is due for a Satellite CME event. AAFP will accept and approve applications on a first come-first served basis when applications are submitted before this date. Applications will be continued to be accepted if all slots are not filled.
June 4, 2008
Application for Approval of Live Activities (4-page PDF; About PDFs) for AAFP Prescribed credit and supporting material is due.
Balance of the administrative fee for a Satellite CME event is due.
June 18, 2008
Last day to submit documentation for AAFP EB CME designation for Satellite CME events to ensure AAFP marketing with EB CME designation. (if applicable)
June 25, 2008

July 16, 2008
Balance of the administrative fee for a Satellite Promotional and Focus Group event is due.
August 8, 2008
Copy of CME provider’s confirmation letters to faculty noting AAFP compliance criteria and monitoring procedures are due for Satellite CME events.
August 22, 2008
15 copies of printed invitations are due. The invitations will be used by AAFP staff to answer questions about Satellite events from attendees.
September 16-21, 2008
Satellite Events at Assembly
October 1, 2008
All on-site materials used during the Satellite CME and Promotional events are due. These materials include unedited audiotape(s) or CD of the activity (CME only), handouts, print copies of slides and number of participants who attended the event.
