Five years ago, Lee Woodruff’s world was rocked by a phone call. Her husband, reporter Bob Woodruff, had been injured by a roadside bomb while on assignment in Iraq. As he healed, she met this challenge with compassion and humor. Together they have put a national face on traumatic brain injury, a serious issue for returning war veterans and ordinary Americans alike. Author of Perfectly Imperfect: A Life in Progress, Woodruff inspires us to take care of ourselves while also taking what life brings us. She lives in New York with her husband and four children.

Being voted “Least Likely to Succeed” in high school didn’t faze Steve Rizzo, author of Becoming A Humor Being. Raised in a tough New York neighborhood, Rizzo went on to receive university honors and a Masters in Theater Arts. As a comedian, he shared the stage with Seinfeld, Dangerfield and DeGeneres. He became a Hall of Fame speaker. And, proving that guidance counselors are not fortune tellers, he even became a teacher at his old high school. Driven by his own definition of success, Rizzo is passionate about sharing his blueprint for realizing our dreams and professional satisfaction.
