CME FAQs
How many CME credits can I earn at Assembly?
The 2008 Scientific Assembly has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 41.25 credits by the AAFP. Acquiring 41.25 credits requires continuous participation from Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. through Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Most members opt for periodic breaks that reduce their total number of reported credits. Participants attending CME activities receiving the AAFP evidence-based CME designation may claim double credit for the portion designated for EB CME.
How do I report my CME?
AAFP has established an online system for recording your Assembly CME credits and evaluating courses. You can access this system in the way most convenient to you: dedicated CME Reporting kiosks in Registration, at any Assembly Cyber Cafe or from your own computer or laptop. This service is available when Assembly begins and for up to 6 weeks after it concludes.
Where can I get CME handouts?
All CME handouts are available on a CD mailed to each preregistrant with tickets and badges the week of September 1. Attendees are encouraged to print their handouts before traveling to San Diego

CDs and MP3s will be available at the Digitell booth in Registration. Audio files from the 2007 Assembly are available via the Digitell NetSymposium web site.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners recognizes activities approved for AAFP credit as acceptable toward CE requirements for nurse practitioners. The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts AAFP Prescribed credit.
