NC FAQs

What is the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students (NC)?

It's a four-day event designed for residents and medical students. Family medicine leaders and educators conduct special lectures, workshops, procedures courses, and clinics. More than 300 family medicine residency programs are represented in the Exhibit Hall. The National Congress of Family Medicine Residents and the National Congress of Student Members hold their annual meetings during the conference.

What is the Global Health Forum?

This facilitated session will focus on the wide range of international projects involving residents and students – accomplishments, greatest challenges, and most important things learned. Do resident exhibitors get to attend conference activities?

Residents registered as a residency program exhibitor receive access to all free conference programming, including resident congress sessions. You may purchase procedural skills course tickets at Registration one hour prior to the course start time (based on availability).

What is the cancellation policy?

The AAFP must receive notice of cancellation by July 9, 2008. Requests for full cancellations will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations or no-shows after July 9, 2008 are not eligible for a refund. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of refund. Fees will be refunded the same way they were paid to the AAFP. This policy covers registration and ticketed events. The AAFP reserves the right to cancel a program if advance registration is not sufficient. Every effort will be made to place the registrant in a similar program of his/her choice or fee(s) will be refunded. Read the full cancellation policy.
