Clinical Procedures

To keep up with the growing demand for office-based procedures, the AAFP offers an array of clinical procedural training opportunities, including hands-on skills and self-study programs.

The AAFP clinical procedures programs are developed by family physicians for family physicians. In-depth study of the anatomy, physiology, techniques, management and contraindications of each procedure, and the unique perspective and support of fellow family physicians may help you become more comfortable with each procedure. Hands-on clinical procedural skills are taught throughout the year at many of the AAFP's annual clinical CME courses and in self-study programs. Join your colleagues by expanding your practice with office-based procedures.
