AAFP-accredited CME Activities for AOA Credit
The AOA will accept AAFP Prescribed and Elective credit as Category 2 credit. (2-A for formal, live activities that deal with clinical topics; 2-B for informal or non-live activities, or activities that deal with non-clinical topics such as malpractice.)
AAFP CME providers may use the following statement after the official AAFP credit statement if only AAFP CME credit is offered for the CME activity and AOA members will be attending.
CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.
AOA-accredited CME Activities
CME activities that have been approved for credit by the AOA and that have not been reviewed for AAFP Prescribed credit eligibility are recognized by AAFP for Elective credit.
